Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 1, 2026
This policy explains what information r.blackman ("this site" or "we") collects, how it's used, and how to reach out about it. It covers this website only.
Information collected
When you submit the contact form, the following is collected: your name, email address, company name (if provided), preferred date and time for a call, and the message you write. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry and, if you choose to move forward, to schedule and carry out a consulting engagement.
Like most websites, the hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information for every visitor, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This is used only for basic security and site reliability, not for tracking individuals.
This site does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated first, and the effective date above will reflect the update.
How information is used
- To respond to a contact form submission and schedule a consultation.
- To deliver a paid consulting engagement, if one is agreed to.
- To meet legal, accounting, or tax obligations related to that engagement.
Information submitted through the contact form is never sold, and it's not shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Third-party services
Contact form submissions are processed through a third-party form-handling service in order to deliver them without running a custom backend server. That provider processes the submitted fields solely to deliver the message and does not use them for its own marketing purposes.
Data retention
Contact form submissions and any records from an active or past engagement are kept for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, deliver the engagement, and meet standard legal and tax recordkeeping requirements, after which they're deleted.
Your choices
To ask what information is held about you, request a correction, or request deletion, use the contact form. Requests are handled directly and promptly; there is no automated self-service tool for this yet.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the site or its tools change. Material changes will update the effective date above.

This policy is written in good faith for a small independent consulting practice. It isn't a substitute for legal advice, and if your organization requires a specific data processing agreement or regulatory language, reach out before an engagement starts.
