Building and running AI phone systems for those products is the main business; r.blackman is that same experience offered hourly to other companies working through similar problems in voice AI, process automation, and model infrastructure.
That background shapes how engagements are scoped. Recommendations come from having run these systems in production, at real volume, not from a slide deck of best practices.
How engagements work
Every engagement starts with a free 20-minute call. If AI genuinely isn't the right answer to your problem, that's what you'll hear instead of a project pitch anyway.
If it is, you get scoped hourly work, typically $150 to $250 per hour depending on the discipline, with a clear plan up front and no obligation to keep going past the first block of hours if it's not working out.
